Spend the afternoon creating your own Natural Ice Dye t-shirt! This unique process uses ice cubes and eye catching veggies and spices and powders to create a brilliant range of "tie dye" colors! Bring your friends and make it a Sunday Funday! Pre-registration is required.

Join SHF for a wine and cheese pairing/sampling with award winning winemaker Kevin Fifo from Covered Bridges Winery and Eric and Diana Smith, owners of Simple Life Farms' award-winning cheeses! Enjoy amazing, local wines and cheeses and learn a little about the process and how to pair. Take in the scenery, relax, sip, savor and enjoy! Pre-registration is required.

Prairie Walk/Flower Arranging
Join us for a one of a kind prairie walk, flower arranging and dinner! Join naturalist Jessie Lowry as she leads you on the beautiful trails of Lone Oaks Farm. Jessie will be teaching you about the native prairie flowers in bloom and answering your questions along the way! You will be able to collect flowers to bring them back to the SHF patio where Kelli and Clint from Cedar Shake Farm will help you arrange your own flower bouquet to take home. Enjoy a boxed meal from The Drift, and Covered Bridges Wine will be available to purchase to enjoy with your meal. This is such a fun, unique experience that you wont' want to miss! Pre-registration required. (Please note that there will be some walking and hills, so wear comfortable shoes and don't forget the sunscreen!)

Art on the Farm

A fun, free event for the family! We will be spotlighting local photographers/painters and potters! Come check out these talented artists set up on the farm store patio as well as in the Barn at Lone Oaks! Enjoy art in a unique setting on the farm! Shop, meet artists, enjoy some Covered Bridges Wine amongst the rolling hills of Madison County! Sign up for "Plein Aire Painting" mini class taught by local artist Mary Cummings! (Registration is required for the mini class.)
